Clinical Services

We provide individual, couples, and family sessions. Session length and frequency are dependent on insurance coverage and clinical need, but most sessions are between 45-55 minutes, weekly or every other week.

Currently, we have therapists in network with all of CareFirst (includes BCBS), Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Maryland Medicaid plans. If seeking treatment out of network or paying out of pocket, rates vary by clinician, but are within the ranges as follows:

  • Individual Sessions $120-150

  • Family/Couples Sessions $150-195

We have a sliding scale available for those in financial need; eligibility depends on income restrictions. We are also happy to provide superbills for clients to submit to their insurance for reimbursement, dependent on their out-of-network benefits.

Common issues that we can help with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship Difficulties or Family Challenges

  • Life Transitions

  • Difficulties with Self-Esteem

  • Issues in Relationship with Food

  • Stress Management

  • Professional/Career Issues

  • College/Graduate School Issues

  • Gender Identity Support

  • Grief, Loss, or Bereavement

By no means is this an extensive list, so if you have any questions about coverage or goodness of fit, please don't hesitate to reach out. There are enough barriers to care as is - we're not here to make it even more difficult to seek help.

We always start with a free 15-minute phone consultation to ensure a successful match for between clinicians and clients. Not every therapist is everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay! Research shows us that the number one predictor of positive treatment outcomes is the strength of the relationship between therapist and client (Martin, Garske, & Davis, 2000) so it's critical to ensure strong therapeutic rapport.
